Burlap Spring Wreaths
So I've had my burlap since December and it's now March. I gathered some inspiration from seeing my friend Karol's burlap wreath while out dropping off SU orders. Thanks, Karol. It was just the kick in the butt I needed to get going. I went the cheap route and wrapped my existing real boxwood Christmas wreaths. They were starting to turn but they were the perfect size so why not? The flowers were made using the scallop SU die cut and then I used three very different techniques to make and attach. Some I sewed some I hot glued. Total time was about 2.5 hours for both wreaths. I like the look for now...
Anthropologie Inspired Project
Our Mops craft girls are fabulous and last friday we created a 3D flower using jersey fabric, beads and needle & thread. Click on the link to see the inspiration necklace from Anthropologie. I decided to use my flowers for a t-shirt to fit my neighbor's daughter across the street. She is the cutest little blond blue eyed girl and I think the shirt will look beautiful on her. http://

Baby Shower for my soon-to-be here nephew
I had the pleasure of helping give a baby shower for my sister-in-law, Jen and my soon-to-be nephew, Joshua Matthew. The theme was blue, of course.... and owls, I love if you didn't know already. I made the owl favors, invitations, tissue balls, burlap monogram, cupcake toppers, chalk boards, mustaches, hand stamped the napkins and decorated for the shower using lots of glass, burlap, blue and brown. My sister-in-law, Kathryn, made the adorable onesies with ties sewn on them. So cute! Check out the pics and let me know your thoughts.
Products used for owl favor boxes:
Stampin' Up! punches, 1 3/4", 1 3?8", 1/2" for the eyes, feathers was 1 1/4" circle punch and beak was 1" square punch cut in half. The box was made using the Fancy Favors die cut and wings were made using the Scallop Circle #2 die cut and then cut in half.
Cupcake Toppers were made using the new Designer Rosette Bigz XL die. One rosette can make three of the cupcake toppers. Circle punch 1 3/4" and 1 3/8" were used and a custom name stamp all from Stampin' Up!
